Hi-Fi: one recorder for everything you listen to in SDRCrew

There is a tab in SDRCrew that has no radio of its own: it is called Hi-Fi, and it is designed to do one thing well - record what you are listening to, from whichever tab you are listening in.
How it works, in practice
Whether you are following a DAB+ station, an FM radio, a shortwave broadcast or a digital voice conversation (DMR/D-STAR/YSF), the Hi-Fi tab notices by itself and "hooks onto" it - nothing to configure, it shows up there with title, metadata and a live VU meter, in a virtual tape deck complete with stereo LEDs and reels that turn when audio flows.
One click on REC and recording starts, in WAV, MP3 or FLAC of your choice. A detail I care about: the file stays a single one from the moment recording starts until STOP - if the signal has a gap (squelch closing), it does not break into ten different files, that stretch simply stays silent in the same track. Change station while recording? The deck follows, and keeps writing to the same file as long as the audio format stays compatible.
Files end up in MusicaSDRCrew, ready to replay or share.
Why I like it: instead of duplicating "record" on every single tab, there is one place to do it well, with a consistent format and an interface that really looks like a recorder, not a red button thrown in somewhere.
Free and open as always. Try it and let me know what you think - contacts are in the Info tab. And if it is useful to you, a coffee to support development is always welcome ☕.
