SDRCrew 1.3.0: LoRa, radiosondes, satellites and digital modes
SDRCrew 1.3.0 is out: lots of news, especially for those who listen to shortwave and "strange" signals.
NEW TABS
- LoRa: LoRaWAN, Meshtastic and LoRa-APRS, with automatic band scanning. It is still experimental: LoRaWAN packets are encrypted, you can see address, counter and port.
- Radiosondes: weather balloons (RS41, DFM, M10/M20, iMet-4, LMS6, Meisei) at 400-406 MHz, with the position on the map.
- Weather satellites: it computes the Meteor-M passes over you, records the 137.9 MHz signal by itself and builds the images of the Earth with SatDump.
- Pagers: POCSAG and FLEX with address and text, with the frequencies of several countries ready to use.
- One map: aircraft, ships, APRS stations and radiosondes on a single map, with trails and details.
SDR TAB: "MODES" PANEL
It decodes dozens of digital modes straight from the audio: RTTY, CW, PSK31-250, NAVTEX, weather fax, Hellschreiber, DominoEX, SELCAL, DTMF, GMDSS DSC, 300-baud HF Packet and, thanks to fldigi, MFSK, Olivia, Contestia, MT63, Throb, THOR and QPSK. Some I tested on real recordings (RTTY, PSK31, fax, MFSK16), others only on test signals: I still consider them in need of refinement.
OTHER
- WSPR in the Digital tab, with the standard frequencies of each band.
- Version in the title bar and local + UTC clock always visible.
- The Digital voice tab shows the modes: DMR, D-STAR, Fusion, P25, NXDN, M17.
- In VDL2, packets without content are hidden; other texts that had been left in Italian in the English interface were fixed.
